While we may be living in unprecedented times, the church of Jesus Christ has always been resilient. The session of Clen-Moore Church has met and sought to discern the best way for us to move forward and want to share some of these things with you. First and foremost, we need to continue to be the church, the body of Christ. We are asking everyone to reach out and check in on each other through whatever means of communication we can use. Keep our office and our pastors informed of how you and other folks are doing, we would love to hear from you.
Please reach out to us if you learn of folks in need so we can help. If you are able and willing to lend a helping hand, let us know so we can extend your generosity to those who are in need.
Based on the discretion of our session regarding the health and safety of our community, we will be making the following changes:
- We will not gather at our building for worship Sunday March 22 through and including Sunday April 12. The session will continue to monitor the situation and extend this as needed. We will look to “make up” Easter when we begin to gather again.
- All activities, church related or otherwise will be postponed through the end of April. At this point in time, the church office will still be open during regular hours.
- In the meantime, a live stream video of worship will be available at 10:30am Sunday mornings. These will also be made available for viewing afterward via Facebook and our website. While we know that not everyone is tech savvy, using our website, Facebook page, and email communication will be vital in a constantly changing situation.
- Below are the following ways in which we can all stay in touch. Please reach out to your co-pastors when needed.

Continuing to give and support the church financially during this time is also important. The session encourages you to give by mailing your offering to the church, direct debit, or setting up online bill pay to our church through your bank. If you have any questions about setting these things up, please contact the church office and we will assist you.
The session encourages all of us to follow the guidelines that have been put forth by the CDC and other health organizations. We should continue to be present when we are called to be, but also be wise to not unnecessarily endanger ourselves or others.
God’s Blessings,
The Session
